Today I will write you about my experience blogging.

I liked making a blog and that this was in conjunction with more people, I could know a little of my classmates and my teacher, besides learning words or ways to use some.

The post I most enjoyed writing was the one about sharing a social network, where I wrote about a comedian website. As I was writing, memories came to my mind, funny things they did, their evolution in comedy and it was entertaining to realize their trajectory. The post I liked the least to write was the one about vacations when I was a kid, because it was repetitive and I had to remember that. I'm not saying that we had a bad time but I was bored when I spent a whole week at the beach. The blog I most enjoyed reading was Professor Simon's, about how he met his best friend. The fact that they are still friends from afar and that he shared his musical tastes was entertaining.

My English improved a lot, in how to write and produce sentences, plus I learned new words mostly, thanks to the exercises in classes of synonyms and placing words according to context. I really liked the blog's method for writing in English, because it is simple and not difficult at all. There is nothing I didn't like.

Naruto: a Tv Programme you watched as a child

Today I'll tell you about a show I used to watch when I was a kid. The show was called Naruto. 

Naruto was an anime series, which was about an orphan boy who wanted to become a ninja, so that the people in his village would recognize him. So much was his intention for people to recognize him, that his dream was to become Hokage, the leader of the village. Naruto had a power inside him that was evil, and the plot of the series revolves around that. Besides having many moments of comedy, the personalities of its characters were recognizable in our society.

The series was broadcasted on Saturdays at 10 a.m., on Chilevision channel, in a children's section that aired cartoons all morning, called invasion. It was the first anime that I liked for its plot, it was interesting the history of the ninjas and how was their life, how they were ascending in the scale of ninjas, like the chunnin exams, besides knowing how powerful were the experienced ninjas and above all the originality in the powers, using the water, the wind, the lightning, the fire and the earth. Another thing that I liked were the ingenious tactics that were given in the combats. Naruto had a sensei, Kakashi, and two partners, Sasuke, who was his rival since he was younger and became his best friend, and Sakura, who was the girl he liked but ended up being one of his best friends, this was how a team was formed to do missions, generally the chemistry of the team was what defined the success of the missions, teamwork.

The activity is interesting to introduce how to speak in the future, although I feel that few examples are given, I would like to know more ways to express situations in the future, however it is clear to explain the different types of future, some closer than others.

In this section you will learn more about the grammar of speaking in the future, and a little more about the different tenses of the future. I think it is more useful than the video of the previous activity because they show more examples.

In this activity it is useful to understand certain forms of pronunciation, especially for a fluent speaker, transforming word sounds. Specifically, how one word ends and another begins can influence your pronunciation.

This exercise is useful to learn new words in English and to learn their pronunciation, as well as to practice them in different contexts or sentences.

This exercise explains the word Fake, its history, its meaning and its use, especially with the popularity it has gained in recent times. The term explains things that are not real, applying this concept to different situations.

'For' vs 'since'

The exercise practices the use of the words "for" and "since", applying them in 8 sentences. It is useful to understand its use more than to practice, since it is conjugated in different situations and contexts.

Good friends :)

Today I'm going to tell you about my best friends, Diego and Eduardo. They are friends I know from my high school days, but we were not so much friends as acquaintances.

With Eduardo we have known each other for many years, we were classmates since we were 5 years old, but we were not friends, but we had a best friend in common called Matias, in high school Matias died in the accident of "los 16 de ohiggins", this made us get closer and that's when we became friends, we really started to know each other. With Diego we were classmates in high school but we were not friends, I had a different group of friends in high school. 

After we got out of high school, Eduardo started hanging out with Diego, and one day when I was dating Eduardo, he was with Diego and that's when I got to know him more seriously. During the pandemic season we became very close, because we started to get together every week, we would go out exploring around Rancagua, abandoned places, rivers, lakes, or nice places just to hang out and share, to get out of the confinement of the pandemic. 

We all like a similar type of music and we like soccer, we usually get together to play FIFA while listening to music, we go out to play pool and we keep on exploring constantly. Every summer vacation, we go to the beach together, we have made several trips together, last year we went camping in Chiloe.

The last time we met was last weekend to watch the Champions League 2023 final. A nice day :)

Bombshell at FC Barcelona

Barcelona, despite being champions of La Liga, could miss out on the Champions League next season. The reason is due to the Negreira case. A couple of months ago UEFA started an investigation against the club, opened an expert and studied the controversial case. The newspaper ABC assures that the two inspectors in charge concluded that the club should be sanctioned without Champions League.

Now we just have to wait until June 12 to know the final decision on the case.

A Family Meal

Today I will tell you about a family meal I remember.

My family meal I remember was around 2010, I remember I was a teenager. For the national holidays in my country, Chile, my family would gather at my grandmother's brother's plot of land. Our family consisted of my grandmother with 8 children, and her 3 brothers who had 2 children each, imagine the amount of cousins and family in general.

I remember when the meat was being cooked, there was a half moon of men around the grill, drinking and talking, they were all my uncles and some of my cousins. We would sit at long tables full of plates of salads, while the meat cooks would pass by with pots and pans asking what kind of meat each one wanted. Since it was a national holiday, we would set up teams and do competitions called "yincanas", this was done for the whole weekend and then the winning team was given a cup, celebrating at dinner on the last day, while talking and laughing about the anecdotes of the "yincanas". It was memorable because my team won that year, thanks to a cousin and me, in the final event which was the victory by points.

Last weekend of Pool :)

Today I am going to write about what I did on my weekend.  On Friday night I went to play pool with two friends with whom I usually play, named Diego and Eduardo, besides the pool is located in a middle meeting point between the three of us. I usually walk because I find it more relaxing, it's a 40 minute walk from my house to the pool hall.

Once inside the enclosure we ask for a table and start playing, we usually play about 3 or 4 games, we add up the points of all the games we play and thus define the winner of the night. Generally each game lasts 20-30 minutes, sometimes a little longer, so we play for about 2 hours. What I enjoy most about playing pool is laughing with my friends when we miss shots that are very easy, we are very joking with each other. 

When we finished playing pool, we went to my house and had a few beers while talking and watching YouTube videos, until it got late and my friends left. 

A Social Media Site :D

Today I'm going to write about a social media page that I visit frequently. The site that I'm going to tell you is about an youtube's channel in Spanish on the topic of comedy called "El sentido del humor" (www.youtube.com/@elsentidodelhumorproducciones). It is a conversation channel, where they do different performances and has different sections and programs, it is very funny, there is no lack of laughter. I discovered this channel while searching for comedian routines to listen to while working for my college assignments.

The channel is mainly composed of 3 comedians, relatively well known in the world of Stand Up comedy, but they are not the only ones, they have frequent guests and many comedian friends, in fact some of them are scriptwriters for the best national comedians, such as Edo Caroe, Stefan Kramer, Pedro Ruminot, Fabrizio Copano, among others.

I frequent it at least a couple of times a week, because I love stand up comedy. One of the main ones is Luis Slimming, who this year debuted on the stage of the "Huaso de Olmue" festival. The channel's program is based on talking about current affairs and seeing the humor of the things that happen every day, they talk about politics, science, mental health and above all ordinaries. They are a good companion for a variety of situations, whether for work, listening to them while traveling or just watching them. It's a very good program, I loved.

Holiday as a Child :D

When I have near to 8 or 9 years old, my family's holidays was a trip to beach. My mother worked in Hospital Regional of Rancagua, and she has a agreement for travel to certain places. We would went to Iloca, a small town in coast near to Curico. I remember that in this place we where staying, there were a lot of cabins with different people places, all familys was of health service of the region. This cabins is located near to the beach, like a little less than 1 kilometer.

Every day we did different things, I remember that sometimes in the morning, we would go for a walk near the beach until we got to Duao, a small city with a port where us we take a breakfast and buy fresh fish to prepare for the lunch. In other days, in the evening we went to the craft fairs that had in the centre of the city and we buy different objects such as costume jewelry, clothes and souvenirs for family, in my case I like buy board games, such as cards, etc. I remember that I was play with the others familys child's, in the center of the cabins had a big empty yard, where we play and running for everywhere. I meet a lot of childs, was great for childrens. We usually stayed one of the first weeks of January and then returned to our home in Rancagua.

Today I'm going to write about 1 photo that I like. It speaks of the moment rather than the place.

The first photo is a photo of me and friends during the national holidays of Chile. We're in the "fondas", in this place they sell food, alcohol, there are places with music and other games and gambling. That day a friend told us to play a game before staying at a local, so we went with him and in one of the games he won the most expensive bottle. It was a game of hoops, where you had to fit them into the bottle. It was one of those typical impossible games, it was quite difficult, it was an epic moment. That was a very nice day. This picture is from the moment after my friend won, after that we went to celebrate all over the "fondas". I like this photo because it reminds me of one of the luckiest moments I have ever had with my friends.

The song of the week

In this blog, I'm going to tell you about a song that I listening on the last week. The song it's called "And I love her". The song is by The Beatles.

The first time I heard this song was in 2005/6, discovering the discography of this group, I do not remember exactly the moment but I think this was not the first time, because the Beatles are very popular and this song is played in the street or in TV commercials.

I liked the song because of the music, it's a beautiful song and I like to listen to covers of this song, I love Kurt Cobain's version, because it generates different feelings than the original version.

Lately, I'm trying to learn the song on guitar, I listen to it constantly, but I don't know how often. Because I have moments of listening of different kinds of music style, different moods.
